        "The [[Upper Sava Valley Museum, Jesenice]] originated in 1951 with the foundation of the [[Iron-making, Mining and Palaeontologic Collection in Bucelleni-Ruard Manor, Jesenice|ironworks collection at Bucelleni-Ruard Manor House]]. It cares for the preservation and promotion of the cultural and natural heritage of the Upper Sava Valley region, and for the Alpine and ironworks heritage of the wider Slovenian territory. The museum collections have grown steadily and today the museum runs three venues in Jesenice and the two dislocated venues in Kranjska Gora and Rateče, while in 2010 the renovated warehouse for charcoal in the ironworks complex of Stara Sava in Kolpern and the [[Slovenian Alpine Museum]] in Mojstrana opened for public."
